Requirements |
|
|
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Licensed teacher preferred.
-
EL endorsement/experience preferred
-
3+ Classroom experience preferred
-
Bilingual/Multilingual preferred
-
Collaborative and willing to work with multiple teachers across several buildings
-
Highly organized with the ability to communicate effectively
-
Knowledge and understanding of the law and Title III requirements
-
Knowledge of second language acquisition and the acculturation process
-
Strong understanding of WIDA standards/assessments
-
Demonstrates mastery of subject areas, commitment to improving instruction, and professional growth.

Commitment to keep current with workplace innovations that enhance personal productivity.

Meets all mandated health requirements

A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment

Complies with drug-free workplace rules and corporation policies

Description |
|
|
Job Objective:
Create educator partnerships and better understanding about English Learners’ culture and background to best serve their academic, language and emotional needs. These goals will be achieved by assisting with instruction, assessment, curriculum, classroom management, professional development, technical assistance, and community participation. Responsible for conducting themselves in an appropriate manner, setting an example for students, parents and coworkers by reflecting the Noblesville Schools Vision and Mission.
