Millard School District is seeking a qualified ESL Specialist to support multilingual learners in developing English language proficiency and accessing grade-level curriculum. This position provides instructional support to students and staff, assists with English Learner (EL) program implementation, and supports compliance with state and federal requirements. |

Applications submitted by other means will not be accepted. Required Application Materials 1. Applicants must upload the following documents as part of the online application: 2. Current résumé outlining relevant coaching, athletic, or related experience 3. Two (2) current letters of recommendation 4. Copies of transcripts or proof of qualifying education if required for the specific position Examples (as applicable to the position): 1. High school diploma or GED 2. Verification of 48 semester hours 3. Associate’s degree (or higher) 4. Passing score on the Master Teacher Assessment (for instructional support roles) Screening Process 1. Applications will be screened for completeness and minimum qualifications. 2. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 3. Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview. 4. Applications may be reviewed on a rolling basis if the position is open until filled. Background Check Requirement 1. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. 2. Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) must be completed prior to the first day of employment. Selection & Notification 1. Final candidates will be notified by the District Human Resources Office. 2. Salary placement will follow the applicable District Classified Salary Schedule based on verified experience, if applicable. 3. Employment is contingent upon completion of all onboarding requirements. 4. Continued employment may be contingent upon maintaining required certifications specific to the position (e.g., food handler permit, CDL, first aid/CPR). |
