Responsibilities Ed Net Facilitator Responsibilities
- Supervise students participating in Ed Net or distance learning courses
- Ensure students are on-task, engaged, and meeting course expectations
- Operate and troubleshoot instructional technology (video conferencing, audio systems, learningplatforms)
- Coordinate with remote instructors to support instruction and communication
- Maintain accurate attendance and participation records
- Assist with testing, assignment submission, and course logistics
- Communicate with counselors, administration, and parents regarding student progress
- Maintain a structured and positive learning environment
- Serve as liaison between the school and external education providers
Additional Assignment (Stipend) Student Body Officer (SBO) Advisor Responsibilities
- Advise and mentor student body officers in leadership development
- Organize and oversee student government meetings and activities
- Coordinate school-wide events (assemblies, dances, spirit weeks, service projects)
- Promote positive school culture and student engagement
- Oversee student activity budgets and fundraising in coordination with administration
- Ensure compliance with District policies regarding student activities
- Support student leadership in planning and executing school initiatives
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, adult high school diploma, or G.E.D.
- Must also meet one of the following:
- Completion of two years of post-secondary study (48+ semester hours)
- Associate’s degree (or higher)
- Passing score on the Master Teacher Assessment (demonstrating ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics)
- Must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a school setting or with adolescents
- Experience with educational technology and troubleshooting
- Experience advising student groups or leadership organizations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Proficiency with computers, instructional technology, and troubleshooting
- Ability to supervise and manage student behavior effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Leadership and organizational skills for student activities

Description |

The Ed Net Facilitator supports students enrolled in distance or network-delivered courses by ensuring a structured, supervised, and technology-supported learning environment. The facilitator serves as a liaison between students, instructors, and the school.
This position also includes serving as the Student Body Officer (SBO) Advisor, responsible for guiding student leadership, coordinating school activities, and fostering positive school culture. |
