Requirements:

The School Psychologist is responsible for conducting and interpreting comprehensive educational and diagnostic assessments.  They assist multi-disciplinary teams in data-driven decisions to support students with Individual Educational Plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

• Valid license as a School Psychologist
• Knowledge of behavior management interventions

Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret results of standardized achievement, cognitive and behavioral tests, criterion-referenced tests, informal tests, and developmental measures to determine the educational level of students in grade preschool through post-high school.
• Write psychoeducational reports including reports of assessment interpretation.
• Assist school-based teams with threat assessments.
• Assist the Director of Special Education in identifying the professional development needs of special education services.
• Maintains confidentiality of all student records and other information.
• Consults with administration and special education departments about maintaining compliance with state standards.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
