The Elementary Physical Education (PE) Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a physical education program that promotes physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits for elementary-aged students. The specialist creates an inclusive and engaging environment where all students can participate, grow, and enjoy physical activity.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum

·         Teach fundamental movement skills, fitness routines, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle practices

·         Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including those with physical limitations or IEPs

·         Create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where students feel encouraged to participate

·         Monitor and assess student progress in physical development and motor skills

·         Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure safety and appropriate use

·         Enforce school behavior expectations and manage student conduct effectively

·         Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and district wellness initiatives

·         Maintain accurate records of student participation and progress as required

Will work approximately 15 hours per week. Will work Tuesday-Friday (approximately 3.75 hrs per day)
