Description |
|
|
Math Intervention Aide. Will provide targeted support to general education students who require additional assistance to meet grade-level standards. Will work closely with classroom teachers and the principal to implement individualized and small group interventions, fostering student growth and academic success in mathematics. Will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Will work directly with individual students and small groups of students under the guidance of the classroom teacher and the principal to implement preplanned intervention activities and strategies in mathematics. Provide targeted support in areas such as foundational math skills (number sense, computation, problem-solving), reading fluency, reading comprehension, phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary development, grammar, and writing skills. Utilize a variety of research-based intervention programs and materials as directed. Reinforce concepts and skills taught in the general education classroom. Adapt and modify instructional materials and activities as needed to meet individual student needs, under the direction of the teacher. Will work approximately 10 hours per week. |
