Requirements |

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field. Valid Utah Educator License with appropriate secondary endorsement in mathematics or science issued through the Utah State Board of Education, or ability to obtain licensure. |

Description |
|
|
The High School Math or Science Teacher provides instruction aligned with state standards to students in grades 9–12. The teacher is responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting student academic success.
Plan and deliver instruction aligned with Utah Core Standards. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to support student learning. Assess and monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance. Maintain a safe, respectful, and effective classroom environment. Communicate with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development and school activities.
This position begins with the 2026-2027 school year. Science or Math applicants are welcome to apply. The position will teach either all Science or all math classes depending on their qualifications. |
