Description |
|
|
The Assistant Football Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program. This includes assisting with practice planning, player development, game preparation, an dthe fostering of a positive, disciplined, and competitive team culture that promotes student growth both on and off the field. Assist in planning and conducting daily practices, drills, and workouts. Teach fundamentals, strategies, and techniques appropriate to assigned position group(s). Support strength and conditioning programs in and out of season. Experience in coaching football, preferably at the high school or youth level. Strong knowledge of football rules, techniques, and safety protocols. Ability to relate well to student-athletes and support their development. Must be dependable, organized, and committed to team success. CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain). Must meet all school district and state coaching requirements (including background checks and certifications). Will work approximately 10 hours per week. ***This position begins with the 2026-2027 school year*** |
